| Physical Therapist Physical Therapist Physical Therapist -- Full Time, General Description located in Delaware, is one of the nation’s largest private health systems. We currently have the following position available: Level I trauma unit, offers a full range of rehabilitation services for inpatients including the Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric populations. Christiana also has a stroke unit which is the primary referral source for our 41 bed rehabilitation unit. The Center for rehabilitation environment complete with modules for everyday challenges and a car to practice safe transfers. Unique to the rehabilitation unit is our certified therapy dogs that assist the therapist’s to bring out the best in patient performance. As a Physical Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team which includes treating patients with joint replacements, stroke and other neurologic disorders, amputees, wound care, trauma patients, oncology care,vestibular balance and mobility and geriatrics. Our skilled team of therapists has developed many special skills that enhance our care of the patients we serve. We encourage active learning and have a dynamic student affiliation program. We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to be actively involved with evaluation and treatment of patients with physical dysfunctions as part of a multi-disciplinary team of PT, OT and Speech Therapists. Candidates must be a Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy with a current license to practice in the State of Delaware. | |
