Privately owned, not-for-profit teaching affiliated health systems in the nation. We are seeking Hospitalists to join our new, forward-thinking hospitalist program within the Medical Group of Christiana Care (MGCC).
The Hospitalist will benefit from being part of a growing program with a defined patient population and limited patient load. In this position, the Hospitalist will enjoy the benefits of work / life balance from little or no overnight in-hospital call, a flexible work environment, and an array of support services available from working as part of a larger primary care medical group focused on quality.
Duties will include:
• Provide quality medical
care to hospitalized
patients from admission to
discharge
• Work closely with patient’s
primary care and/or specialist
physician in management of
patient’s care
• Participate in hospital quality
and performance improvement
projects
• Participate in regular teaching
conferences

Ideal Candidate Profile and Position Requirements:
The Hospitalist candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in hospitalist medicine with a demonstrated knowledge of inpatient medical issues. The Hospitalist will be skilled in negotiating agreements, oral and written communication, working within a multi-disciplinary team, and working within a dynamic work environment.
Additionally, the candidate will possess the following:
• Post graduate degree from an
accredited medical institution
• Completion of an accredited
Medicine, combined Medicine
Family Practice Residency
program
• Board Certified in Internal
Medicine or Family Medicine
